Terms of Service

Effective Date: 27-10-2025 (Subject to changes)

Welcome to the Terms of Service for Aaron Heemskerk‘s web development and related services. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Pricing

All prices for services are quoted in advance and are subject to change based on the scope and complexity of the project. Additional costs may apply for third-party services, hosting, or software licenses required for your project. Price changes will be discussed in advance.

The project scope is defined during the initial consultation and proposal phase. This will be in the form of a document, that contains all deliverables and potential timelines. Any additional features or changes requested after are considered out of scope.

Any changes outside of project-scope will be charged accordingly.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in the project proposal or contract. Typically, a deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion or as per the agreed payment schedule.

Late payments may incur additional fees or interest charges as specified in the contract.

Refunds

Due to the nature of custom web development and services, we do not offer refunds once work has commenced. However, we are committed to client satisfaction and will work diligently to address any concerns or issues that arise during the project.

This however, does not include out-of-scope edits.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, clients will receive ownership rights to the final deliverables, including source code, designs, and documentation. We retain the right to showcase the work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed upon.

Any third-party materials or libraries used in the project will be subject to their respective licenses.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
